By accessing californiafix.us, submitting a quote request, or otherwise using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use this website or submit any information through it.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the site after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
At its registered location (9865 San Fernando Road-E, Pacoima, CA 91331), California Fix Inc operates directly as a licensed Automotive Repair Dealer (BAR Registration No. ARD 313954). At this location, California Fix Inc is the repair provider of record and is directly responsible for all repair services performed, including compliance with all obligations under the California Automotive Repair Act (Business and Professions Code Chapter 20.3).
California Fix also operates a network of independently licensed auto body and collision repair shops across California ("partner shops"). Each partner shop holds its own valid BAR Automotive Repair Dealer licence and operates as a legally independent business. Partner shops may trade under the California Fix name as a registered DBA (doing business as).
At partner shop locations, California Fix's role is limited to:
At partner shop locations, California Fix Inc is a referral intermediary, not the repair provider of record. All repair work at partner locations is performed by the independent licensed partner shop. Each partner shop is solely responsible for the repair services it performs, its own BAR compliance, and its obligations to consumers under California law.

By submitting a quote request, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements above.
When you submit a quote request through californiafix.us, you are requesting that California Fix connect you with a partner shop that may be able to service your vehicle. Submission of a quote request does not:
Following submission of your request, California Fix will endeavour to connect you with a suitable partner shop, typically within 30 minutes during business hours. The assigned shop will contact you directly to discuss your repair needs, provide an estimate, and arrange an appointment if you choose to proceed.
California Fix does not guarantee a specific callback time and is not liable for delays caused by partner shop availability, high demand, or circumstances outside our control.
In the interest of full transparency: partner shops pay California Fix a referral fee when a consumer referred through our platform proceeds with a repair. This fee is paid by the shop, not by you, and does not affect the price you are quoted or charged for repair services. Our referral relationships do not influence the repair estimates or recommendations provided by partner shops.
At the Pacoima location, California Fix Inc is the licensed repair provider and is responsible for compliance with all obligations under the California Automotive Repair Act, including providing a written estimate before work begins (B&P Code § 9884.9), obtaining written authorisation, providing an itemised invoice, and returning replaced parts on request. Any disputes regarding repairs performed at the Pacoima location should be directed to California Fix Inc in the first instance.
California Fix vets partner shops prior to inclusion in our network, including review of BAR licence status, Google ratings, and business credentials. However, at partner shop locations:
All repair warranties, guarantees, and statutory obligations at partner shop locations are the sole responsibility of the individual partner shop performing the work. Any disputes regarding repairs at partner locations must be directed to that partner shop and, where applicable, to the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (bar.ca.gov).
California Fix encourages all consumers to obtain a written estimate and written authorisation for repair as required under California Business and Professions Code § 9884.9 before authorising any work, regardless of location.

California Fix reserves the right to refuse service, cancel quote requests, or block access to any user who violates these responsibilities.
The limitations in this section apply differently depending on the location of service.
Pacoima location: Where California Fix Inc is the licensed repair provider, your statutory rights under the California Automotive Repair Act apply in full and cannot be disclaimed. Nothing in these Terms limits those rights.
Partner shop locations: Where California Fix's role is limited to referral and brand licensing, the following limitations apply:
We do not warrant that our website will be available at all times, free from errors or interruptions, or that quote requests will always result in a successful match with a partner shop.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to contact California Fix in writing at californiafix.us@gmail.com and provide a description of the dispute and the relief sought. We will attempt to resolve the dispute informally within 30 days of receiving your notice.
Nothing in these Terms limits or waives any rights you have under California consumer protection law, including rights under the Consumers Legal Remedies Act (CLRA), the Unfair Competition Law (UCL), or the False Advertising Law (FAL). Nothing in these Terms limits your right to file a complaint with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (bar.ca.gov) or the California Attorney General's Office.
For repairs performed at the Pacoima location, disputes should be directed to California Fix Inc at californiafix.us@gmail.com. For repairs performed at partner shop locations, disputes should be directed in the first instance to the partner shop. In either case, if unresolved, consumers may file a complaint with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair at (855) 735-0462 or bar.ca.gov.
All content on californiafix.us, including text, graphics, logos, and the California Fix name and brand, is the property of California Fix Inc and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on our site without our prior written consent.
You retain ownership of any information you submit through our quote request form. By submitting a quote request, you grant California Fix a limited, non-exclusive licence to use that information to provide the referral services described in these Terms.
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, including partner shop profiles on Google Maps, Yelp, and other platforms. These links are provided for convenience only. California Fix does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content, privacy practices, or services of any third-party site.
Partner shops in the California Fix network are independent businesses. They are not employees, agents, or representatives of California Fix. California Fix is not responsible for any act or omission of a partner shop.
Your use of californiafix.us is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our site, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable under applicable law, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and California Fix regarding your use of this website and our referral services, and supersede all prior agreements or understandings on the same subject matter.
